Below are the Terms and Conditions for purchasing. Please read through carefully as we provide many resources and answer commonly asked questions about how to order the correct size and fit. Please make sure you read our Billing and Shipping procedures, Return Policy and Product Warranty as well. By completing your order you are agreeing to these terms and conditions and will abide by them. There are no exceptions for customers who fail to read and comply. If you have any questions or are unsure please contact us before placing your order.

ORDERING INFORMATION

Q. How do I know what size to order?

A. Our dance shoes are in European sizes. Please measure your feet and determine the conversion from International sizes from the size chart below. 

Having the right shoes will ensure comfortable hours of practice and dynamic performances.


All of our shoes provide vital support and comfort, which allows the dancer to feel the floor, making the fit extremely important. To get the correct fit, follow these guidelines:

There are two steps for estimating your correct shoe size. For regular width, you can simply measure your foot:

  1. Start by standing on a piece of paper with your full weight and socks on. Using your longest foot, draw a line at the back of the heel and another line across the top of the longest toe. Measure the distance between the lines in inches.
  2. Refer to the chart below to find the size that matches your length. This chart is the inside measurements of KW Dance Store. Add whatever extra length you need for the fit you want. Then order the size of the shoe according to the fit you want.

FAQ

Q. How do I know what heel height to order?
    

A. Our heels are measured from the outside or longer part of the heel. Some companies use another method so please do not confuse the heel size you may have from another company with the KW Dance Store heel sizes.

Q. How will I now if my shoe order has been submitted?

A. You will receive an email from us confirming your order. If for some reason you do not receive the email please send an email immediately to lambada.dancewear@gmail.com. You will also be able to look up the status of your order by clicking on the Order Lookup button on the right.

Q. Can I custom order dance shoes to meet my specific needs/wants?

A. Customer orders can be requested by sending an email to lambada.dancewear@gmail.com. Your request will be reviewed and a representative will get back to you with more information and options.

Q. What happens if what I want to order is not in stock?


A. If the item you want is not in stock you may still purchase it now and the item will be back ordered. Back orders may take 2 - 3 weeks to process. Delivery times are not included. See shipping information below to find out about delivery times. We do NOT accept returns or exchanges on back orders so please be certain at the time of purchase that you are willing to wait the maximum length of time for your order. You will be charged when you place your order and the shoes will be shipped to you as soon as we receive them at our warehouse.

Q. Can I make changes or cancel an order that has already been submitted?


A. You can only change or cancel your order if you contact us WITHIN 24 HOURS of submitting your order. Please contact us by emailing us at lambada.dancewear@gmail.com as soon as possible with "Cancel Order" or "Change Order" as the subject. After 24 hours you will have to wait until you receive your merchandise and then follow through with our return policy.

Q. When can I expect to receive my order?


A. If the item is in stock, your order will be shipped out within 3 - 5 business days.

If the item is on back order or you are placing a custom order then your order will be shipped out in 3 - 4 weeks. We use Canada Post and other carriers as our standard shipping method to ship all over the world. Canadian orders usually arrive in 2 - 3 business days. For U.S. orders please allow 7 - 10 business days for delivery. International orders will take 7 - 14 business days for your merchandise to arrive.

For international deliveries there may be holdups in customs that delay your order and you may be responsible to pay some taxes and duties on the goods. We are not responsible for any delays caused by a county's customs laws or any additional payments that need to be made in order to pick up the shoes. BILLING & SHIPPING

A. What forms of payment do you accept for online orders?

Q. We accept all major credit cards including: Visa, MasterCard and American Express using real-time credit card transactions. We also accept PayPal.

For wire transfers, cheques and money orders please contact us prior to making your purchase. Your order will only be processed when the payment clears.

What are the options for shipping?

We use Canada Post Priority for all domestic and international orders. Shipping charges are determined by the weight and destination of the package. Delivery is typically 5 - 7 business days. For Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico delivery is in 7 - 10 business days. For all international orders delivery is in 7 - 14 business days.

For international deliveries there may be holdups at customs that delay your order, and you may be responsible to pay some taxes and duties on the goods. We are not responsible for any delays caused by a country's customs laws or any additional payments that need to be made in order to pick up the shoes.

Q. Does KW Dance Store ship internationally?      

A. Yes. Shipping charges are determined by the weight and destination of the package. For all international orders, packages are typically delivered in 7 - 14 business days. For international deliveries there may be holdups at customs that delay your order, or you may be responsible to pay some taxes and duties on the goods. We are not responsible for any delays caused by a country's customs laws or any additional payments that need to be made in order to pick up the shoes.

Q. Will I have to pay any duties or taxes when shipping internationally?
   

A. Every country has a different system and set of rules for imported goods. We are not responsible for any duties and taxes incurred. It is the sole responsibility of the recipient of the merchandise. We are not responsible for the delay in shipping or the loss of packages due to recipient’s negligence to pay required duties and taxes

Q. Can I ship an order to multiple addresses?      

A. We can only ship to one address per order. If you wish to ship to multiple addresses, please split your order and use a different shipping address for each order. We recommend you send us an email in order to confirm that you are splitting the order and that it is not a fraudulent transaction or an error on your part.

PRODUCT WARRANTY

We guarantee all our shoes for up to 12 months from date of purchase. Our warranty is only for defective workmanship and/or materials when used under normal conditions for the purpose intended.

    For claims within the first six months, shoes or boots will either be repaired, replaced, or a full credit (based on the original purchase price) will be issued toward a new pair of our shoes. Shipping charges will not be reimbursed. For claims made within the second six month period, a partial credit will be issued (based upon the original purchase price and extent of wear) toward the purchase of a new pair.

    Credits will not be considered if shoes or boots have been subjected to excessive or unusual wear (cuts, burns, scratches, wear and tear in material), mistreatment, poor fitting, or if soiled. Credits will not be issued on shoes that customer is not satisfied with unless their is some visible defect. We make every attempt to fit shoes properly and find the right type of footwear for each individual. However, you the customer must make the final decision as to how a shoe fits.

    RETURNS & EXCHANGES

    PRODUCT WARRANTY

    Q. What is the warranty on your products?

    A. Shipping charges are not refundable and you will have to pay all shipping charges for the replacement item.

    Clearance items are final sale and may not be returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective.

    Returns and exchanges take 10 - 15 business days to process. We will email you to confirm that it is being processed and will send out your new item or issue you a credit. It may take a few business days for any credits to show up on your credit card statement.

    There are NO returns or exchanges on custom ordered or backordered dance shoes so please be sure of your size, heel and colour selections. See our sizing resources to make sure you are making the correct selections. We will not accept returns or exchanges on custom orders or backorders in the wrong size or heel height. If you are unsure about your size and heel choices we recommend you order from our in stock merchandise if you want the option to return or exchange in case of wrong sizing.

    Purchases made from other dealers or stores must be returned to the location it was originally purchased from and is subject to the dealer’s return policy.

    Q. Can I exchange for another size, colour or style?

    A. Only orders made from our in stock merchandise can be exchanged. You may select another pair from our in stock merchandise. If the shoe is on backorder or you decide to custom order it, can take up to 3 - 4 weeks to produce. Delivery times depend on location so see shipping information above.
