GROUP CLASSES

Many of our group classes are run in a series format so we can build upon the material from each week.  This allows your child to progress in their dancing along with other students at their level. Our classes are divided into 3 age groups starting with our youngest 4-6 years old, 6-8 years old and 9-15 years old.
Students will learn the basic figures of each dance as well as how to recognize the music.  We will practice the basics of leading and following and develop their coordination, confidence, musicality, and social skills. By attending our ballroom classes, they will feel comfortable dancing to a variety of music and will be ready to show off their new moves!

PRIVATE LESSONS

Private lessons are a great way for your child to learn and develop as a dancer!  They will learn at their own pace and will have a personalized lesson program focusing on the dances they enjoy most. Enjoy the convenient scheduling at a time that works best for you and your child.  In addition, we offer ballroom competition training which can focus your child’s efforts and give them a chance to shine on the competition floor!

DANCE COMPETITION FOR KIDS AND TEENS Dancesport is an exciting way for your child to focus their dance training and enjoy a healthy level of competition.  When your child competes they learn to set long-term goals, to work steadily toward their goal, to win graciously, and handle setbacks with maturity. Kids and teens may compete in a wide variety of dance genres and can compete regionally or nationally.  Students wishing to compete must be enrolled in a private lesson program and may wish to enroll in group classes for their age category.

WHAT TO WEAR?

We suggest dress pants for boys and short skirt for girls with a blouse. Your child should wear dress shoes only worn indoors or preferably dance shoes.
